Lala had the best strategy this season hands down, and probably one of the best strategies in RSL history. On day one, she quickly found both the Namua idol, which she took for herself, and the Boros idol, which she found out she had to give to one of the members on the Males tribe. Knowing Bena was on the outside, Lala decided to hand the idol to Bena, to claim not only his trust, but to also make sure he'd be able to take out a bigger threat on the Males tribe who would be a threat to her further down the road. Finding herself on the outside of a losing tribe proved to be very frustrating for Lala, as she lost both Mary & Skylar during the first few tribal councils. Lala always knew who the vote was going towards, which allowed her to save her idol for future tribal councils. A tribe swap in the game saved Lala's life, and allowed her to break free from her original tribe. The tribe swap was when Lala's strategy came to life. Knowing the female numbers were down, Lala realized that if she were to stick with any girls, her chances of surviving were pretty low once the merge came as players like Slaylah & Cher who were pro female, were being heavily targeted. Lala decided to tie herself in with James, Ethan, and Bena, three players who she knew would protect her as shields along with three players who would stay loyal to her. Lala was successfully able to take Abi out of this game, a player who had loads of power on the original Female tribe. Challenge wise, Lala knew she was terrible - yet she was able to survive with no votes every time her tribe when to tribal pre-merge. When the merge came, Lala knew laying low was the best bet for her to go... as many vocal players like Slaylah & James were being heavily gunned for. Lala was in the core of many alliances, such as the "Serpent Six" which had been created by Luca. She was never on the outside of anything, and always knew what was going on no matter what. Lala began to plant seeds of doubt in everyone's mind that Valentina had the idol, and that she was playing very smartly. The reason Lala wanted Val out, was because both had the same strategy to lay low & Lala knew keeping players similar to her would be a disaster. An underrated move on her part was being able to go from the bottom of the Female tribe, to basically the leader of any alliance she found herself in once merge came. She played roles in many big blindsides, such as when she used her hidden immunity idol on James & successfully negated 4 votes against him... which saved her alliance from going to the minority. She took out Luca with the idol right in his pocket. Lala was always able to make big bold moves, yet always remain out of the spotlight to being targeted. The rest of the game, Lala decided that not standing out to everyone else wasn't worth it - because many players were beginning to turn on their alliances. She never let her alliance walk all over her though, and kept a say in every vote. Her bonds with both Ethan & James kept her in the know, as they always told her anything and everything that was going on. Lala was able to make the final tribal council, but this was tribal wasn't her best performance. Formatting a speech and having a smooth flow in the final tribal is one of the ways to come off as dominant to a jury, but Lala was unsuccessful when trying to map out her game. She messed up alot, and many jurors saw her performance as messy - as she didn't highlight or really talk about what made her game perfect. In the end, Lala was able to take 3 votes making her the runner-up, as she lost to Ethan in a 4-3-1 vote. Lala definitely could've won this game had she planned her speech out a little more, as she had an amazing strategy & balanced social game.
