SUMMARY:
Alex had the odds against him from the moment he stepped into Nicaragua. His path to the end was not going to be an easy one being the odd one out. He built up friendships with his Rebelde tribemates and they kept him around knowing he was easy to persuade. On the new Bidu tribe he found the idol clue and had the chance to prove everyone wrong, but was not able to grab it in the challenge before Beige did. By making merge he showed he had what it takes to get far in this game, even when many people doubted him. Vote by vote he attached himself to different players and alliances in order to keep himself off the chopping block. He mainly associated with the witches coven because he had become close with Ashley and Beige earlier in the game. Whenever he would vote in the majority he was claimed to be a goat by others. Through playing the floater game he guaranteed his safety at many Tribal Councils and this was under looked. He had the potential to switch up the game but sometimes it was better to take the easy route. Going the entire merge without being a target was impressive. At Final Tribal Council he had trouble sharing his game with the jury and was misunderstood, jurors were most bitter over the risks he never took. Without others taking him seriously his shot at winning faded away. Although Alex was the second runner-up and received no votes to win, we were still super proud of how far he came.
