SUMMARY:
Gina entered this season very under the radar. She got caught in the drama at the Rogues camp but used her allies Bri and Beige as a shield. Gina always took the backseat pre-merge to ensure her safety. With her relationships from Picaro still intact it seemed like Gina had an easy ride the first few eliminations. When Gina randomly selected the Bidu buff at the final swap she was isolated and her game appeared as though it may crumble. On exile she learned she had the opportunity to select an advantage to help her in this game, a fake idol, an extra vote, or an advantage in the next challenge. She selected the extra vote and it payed off for when she returned to Rebelde and discovered she was the main target. Gina believed she was going home and used her extra vote as a last resort, sending home Peyton as the final pre-juror. At merge Gina always used her allies to advance herself. Withdrawing and exchanging information Gina usually had good read on the votes. Each Tribal Council there was always a bigger target than Gina and this was apart of her big picture plan. Being able to swap alliances and fit into voting blocs she managed to make her way to the finale night without depending on her physical game. Everyone knew she was a threat that eventually needed to go home, but by winning the final five Immunity Challenge and sending JT to jury her journey was not coming to an end. The boys sided with Gina at the final four and determined they had a better shot going against Gina instead of Ashley. The jury was very impressed with the way Gina explained her gameplay and answered her questions in comparison to Alex and Classic. Gina won the first ever season in a 9-1-0 vote!
